Wild and Scenic Film Festival 2010

The films address a variety of topics, including water, climate change, energy, conservation, wildlife, and adventure. Each venue will feature two different packages of film, so you are encouraged to come to both nights!

The South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) started the Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival to promote community building within the Yuba Watershed, as well as a way to explore environmental issues through an exciting and influential medium. In 2004, environmental groups started asking SYRCL to bring the festival to their community. In 2010, the film festival will reach over 100 venues nationwide. The Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival kicks-off its nationwide tour each year, in Nevada City, CA. We look forward to sharing these films to the local Tahoe community this April, in celebration of Earth Day.
